Resona

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

Resona ("the app") is a voice training tool for iPhone, built for trans voice work. We built it to be private by design.

The short version: Resona collects no personal data. Your voice never leaves your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Resona has no server, no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. We have no way to see your data — and we like it that way.

How your voice is processed

Voice journal recordings

Optional iCloud sync (Pro)

If you enable iCloud sync, your training metrics and journal metadata are stored in your own private iCloud database, managed by Apple and tied to your Apple Account. We cannot access, read, or recover this data. You can turn sync off at any time in Settings; your data then stays only on your device.

Purchases

Resona Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple. We receive no payment details. Purchases can be restored through your Apple Account.

Data deletion

Delete any journal entry in-app for immediate, permanent removal of the audio file. Deleting the app removes all local data. If you used iCloud sync, you can remove Resona's data in iOS Settings → Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Storage.

Children's privacy

Resona does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date. Because the app collects nothing, changes are unlikely.
